Networking is so powerful! I had lunch with a friend earlier in the week. We hadn’t seen each other for a few years and it was great to catch up. We had lunch a few doors down from a former employer of mine. I bumped into two former colleagues – always fun to catch up!
One of them said that her cousin’s friend’s husband just started a business and might need a Virtual Assistant. The other former colleague said he would keep an eye out for anyone that might need my services. He does a lot of volunteer work and interacts with lots of people.
So…from one delicious lunch with an old friend I might have some good referrals! And it doesn’t necessarily need to turn into a client relationship to be a good relationship. I’d say that was a well-spent lunch hour!
Howdy, great day! Your post is very impressive. I never believed that it was feasible to carry out something like that until after I read your write-up. You certainly offered an excellent perception on exactly how this kind of whole scheme performs. I’ll make sure to return for more advice. Keep it up!
